Request for Proposal - Security Cameras and Door Access Control Systems

Dear Vendor,

The Hudson School District (HSD) is officially soliciting proposals for the procurement and deployment of IP Security Cameras and Door Access Control Systems. We are looking for qualified partners to replace existing legacy systems across seven locations, including our high school, middle school, four elementary schools, and the district office.

Our goal is to implement a robust, open-architecture security solution that integrates seamlessly into our existing network infrastructure.

Site Review Location: Hudson School District Offices, 1350 Carmichael Road, Hudson, WI 54016. All participants will be required to sign an NDA.

Scope of Work Highlights

The project is divided into two primary categories:

  1. Security Camera Equipment: High-definition IP cameras (minimum 4 MP) with at least 30 days of recording storage and granular access controls.

  2. Door Access Control: Managed RFID badge entry systems for external entry points, featuring schedule-based entry and full logging capabilities.

  • Format: All proposals must be submitted electronically.

  • Pricing: Cost proposals must be submitted separately from the technical response to ensure independent evaluation. Use the Cost Response Matrix provided in Appendix C-2.
