Introduction to Engineering and Design

Course Description:

Introduction to Engineering is a design-oriented class for students interested in pursuing a career in engineering or engineering technology. Students will learn how to use CAD computer software to complete drawings and 3-D models that are typical in an Engineering environment. This is the first and a foundation course in the national engineering curriculum outlined by Project Lead the Way (PLTW). Students will have the opportunity to earn 3 college credits in this course. A lab fee of $15 is required.
