2026 School Board Election Dates

• December 1, 2025 - January 6, 2026: Candidate filing period
• December 26, 2025: Deadline for incumbents to file Notice of Noncandidacy
• January 6, 2026: Candidate filing deadline by 5:00 PM
• February 17, 2026: Primary Election
• April 7, 2026: Spring Election

Candidate packets are available for pick up at the District Office.

Please be aware that the School District has specific guidelines for the proper use of district logos and brands, and they do not include use for school board candidate elections. Accordingly, School Board Candidates should not use the district's logo or branding images on personal campaign materials.

School Board Seats Up for Election in 2026

The term of office for school board members is three years beginning in April 2026, and expiring in April of 2029. A Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy must be filed no later than 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. These documents may be filed at the Hudson School District Office, 1350 Carmichael Rd, Hudson, Wisconsin between the hours of 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, but will be open until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
